OUR LEADERS

DAVE RIBBENS

ELDER

I am blessed to have grown up in a faithful, God-fearing family, with parents whose faith has sustained them throughout their lives. This early exposure to spiritual disciplines imprinted upon my heart at a very early stage my need for God's grace through Jesus Christ, although the sanctification of my life has certainly been (and continues to be) a constant reminder of the goodness of God's promise that his mercies fall fresh every morning.

God has called me to serve as an Elder in now three churches; I am humbled and grateful for his calling, and aware of the magnitude of responsibility to be a shepherd of the flock, even as we all are sheep in his flock. Knowing, feeding, protecting and leading the bride of Christ is the most important work I've ever done, only behind my role as husband, father, and grandfather. Through God's faithful providence, I trust that the Elder's work is already and will continue to bear much fruit for the kingdom, as our congregation together grows in maturity, in unity, in love for each other and in deep worship of our Lord and Savior.

Lois and I love to hike, and travel, and enjoy time with our family.
