The goal of the Missions Team is to spread the message of the gospel and love of Jesus Christ.

We accomplish this by helping others through acts of Christian kindness on a local, regional and global basis. We connect our congregation with opportunities to engage directly in missions through prayer, financial support and action.

Local

Community Church seeks to aid those in need in our church and community. Whether helping with home repairs, utility bills, car repair, or fuel for the tank, Community Church is here to help.  Contact the Church office for more information about how you can help meet a need or have a need met.

Starting Spring 2017, Community Church will be planting and maintaining our Community Garden.  This garden will enable us to supply fresh vegetables to City On a Hill while providing the opportunity for church members to serve and support this great ministry.  Contact the Church office for more details.

Regional

City on a Hill is a Christian organization in Milwaukee (the 5th poorest city in the U.S.) working to break the cycle of generational poverty by serving, loving and building relationships with inner city children and their families.  We support them by sending volunteer work teams (adult and student) to assist with work projects and serving opportunities.

This summer, we will be inviting children from City on a Hill to participate in our Community Garden initiative.  We share their vision and mission for transforming hearts and spreading the love of Jesus to urban families.

Global

Community Church supports initiatives around the world, aimed at sharing the Gospel of Christ through practical works of service. One example is Patty Tebon...

  • Patty Tebon

Patty Tebon has a heart for the people of Swaziland --especially the children. Over the past nine years, she has delivered over 45,000 new and gently used blankets to villages in this country ravaged by poverty, hunger and disease.

Patty has just returned from a trip in mid-June of 2017 to help the community build a cooking structure so the children can be fed daily. She will also delivered at least 9,000 blankets and a lot of love!

Please contact Patty at 920-495-5403 for more information.
