One of the ways a church can come together in unity is through the communal reading and study of God’s Word. To that end, in 2022, I want to encourage you, our church family, to go through the bible together. What a great opportunity to “get on the same page,” literally, and begin to experience the blessing of the “public reading of Scripture” (1 Timothy 4:13). 

A couple of qualifications: First, don’t worry if you are not a great reader or you don’t understand every passage you read. The goal here is to participate and ask questions of the text together. We will be rolling out a new messaging platform on our church app in order to facilitate an ongoing conversation about what we’re reading together. Second, don’t be discouraged if you miss a day. Satan would love for you to give up, and he will shame you into discontinuing. Don’t let that happen! If you miss a day, just pick back up and keep going. Steady plodding, my friends!
