Pastor Appreciation Celebration & Chili Cook-off
This year we are combining our Pastor Appreciation Celebration & Annual Chili Cook-Off Competition into one fun-filled evening. Join us in the sanctuary starting at 4pm to celebrate Pastor Joe & his family.
Starting at 5pm we’ll kick-off the chili cook-off. Bring your award-winning chili (don't be shy) or just come on out to sample the chili submissions. Prizes will be awarded.
All are welcome to the celebration but space at the cook-off is limited, so register by Oct 11.
Membership Class - Sat, Oct 24

Child Dedication
Join us for our Child Dedication service on October 25, 2026.
Why do child dedication? Well, it is an opportunity for us to pray for and bless our families with children. Child dedication has no particular age range. Typically, it is for newborns through toddler age, but if you have never had your child dedicated, feel free to do so. Please sign-up by Oct 19.
Handcrafted Calling Class
Discover What You Were Made For!
Most Christians know what they have been saved from, but not what they have been saved for. Handcrafted Calling is a transformative 6-session journey that helps adults of all ages uncover their personal calling.
Classes will be held at the Annex on Mondays, November 2-30, from 6-8pm.
Class size is very limited! Please register by Monday, October 26.

Congregational Meeting
We will be holding our Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, Nov 15 immediately following the 8:30 Sunday service. We will be approving the 2027 SBCC budget, elder candidates and some proposed by-law changes. Please come cast your vote either in person or online.

2026 Christmas By The Bay Parade
We are excited to be participating in this year’s Christmas By The Bay Parade in downtown Sturgeon Bay on Saturday, Dec 5. The parade will begin at 11am at Sawyer Park.

Ladies Christmas Tea
Ladies, save-the-date for this year's Ladies's Christmas Tea. Join us for an evening filled with cookies, tea & coffee, signing carols and a message from inspirational speaker Dawn Sundstrom. This is a wonderful opportunity to witness the true reason for Christmas, so, invite your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors.

CS will re-start on September 13, moving from Wednesday nights to Sunday evenings at 6:30–8 pm.

Trail Life Kick-off
For boys ages 5-17!
Faith. Adventure. Friendship. Trail Life USA is a scout program that equips boys to become godly men through adventure, mentorship, and biblical discipleship.
This will be the first Troop Meeting for the upcoming program year/fall season!
If boys are interested, they're welcome to see/participate in a meeting before registering to be a part of the troop!

Worship in the Park
This year, our annual picnic will be an outreach to the community with our regular Sunday service and a free meal to follow, all taking place at Martin Park. Please note, there will be no 8:30 service that day. We will all be gathering outside at the park for 10am worship service instead.

What does SBCC teach about children, baptism, and the Lord’s Table? When should my child get baptized? When should they begin taking Communion? How do I know if my child has true, saving faith?

Come join our SBCC worship team as we gather to sing popular songs and worship music at the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center in Egg Harbor before the 4th of July Fireworks (on the 3rd of July).
Bring a lawn chair and celebrate the 250th anniversary of our country with us. Admission is free.

Mid-Year Congregational Meeting 2026
We will be holding our mid-year congregational meeting on Sunday, June 14 immediately following 1st service. There will be Elder, building & financial updates.
For those with little ones, nursery will be available in the church lower level during the meeting so no need to miss out.

A reminder there are NO 10:00 service today.
Instead we will be having our mid-year congregational meeting.
