2025 Short Term Mission Trip
Native American children suffer from abuse at one of the most alarming rates in our country. Oglala Lakota County is one of the most impoverished counties in the United States and is home to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. The NAOMI House is a non-profit ministry dedicated to providing a safe and loving home for Native American children in need and makes for a family friendly mission destination for groups of all sizes.
Dates: Jun 14-21
Housing: Staying on-site at Naomi House, South Dakota
Cost: $150/person + food & travel
Registration due by June 1.

We're doing something new this Summer!
Join us at Martin Park on Sunday afternoon for a time of extended worship, fellowship, and celebrating the Sabbath with one another. Bring a picnic lunch and games to play, we'll provide the beverages. There will singing, testimonies and lots of fellowship.

Food Pantry Closed - July 4
Our food pantry is closed this week for the Independence Day holiday. It will reopen next week at the regular time of Friday mornings from 9am-Noon

Mother's Day Roses
On May 11, Mother's Day roses will be available sponsored by the Door County Chapter of Right to Life.
Suggested donation of $2 per rose helps protect lives of the unborn, disabled and elderly.
All money donated remains in Door County to support education, events, and scholarships.

National Day of Prayer Event
Please join us on the evening of May 1 for this year's National Day Of Prayer. We will be meeting at Friends Community Church in the sanctuary starting at 6:00pm and ending at 7:30pm.
If you cannot make it that evening, feel free to come and pray on your own at the Old Rugged Cross (located at Friends Church), mid-day from Noon-1:30pm.

St Patrick's Day Parade
SBCC will be participating in this year's Sturgeon Bay St. Patrick’s Day Parade starting at 11 am on Saturday, March 15. We'll be handing out Easter Sunday invites, along with a small treat, to the crowd.

In mid June, 2025 we plan on traveling to Pine Ridge Reservation for one-week to serve at the NAOMI House, a non-profit ministry dedicated to providing a safe and loving home for Native American children in need.
Join us on January 12 after second service in the church's lower level for an informational meeting about the trip.

Community Students 2025 Winter Retreat
The Community Student’s 2025 Winter Retreat will take place at the DISTRICTS Youth Conference in Green Bay on January 10-12. The weekend will be full of music, prayer, preaching, fun, games, and tons of fellowship.
