DIRECTOR OF FAMILY & YOUTH

For as long as I can remember I wanted to be in law enforcement. After giving my life to Christ in God's timing at 14, I have been deeply impacted by the ministry of his local church. The Lord has been so good to me by providing through his church to me mentors to disciple me, a place to use my gifts to serve him, and a community of brothers and sisters in Christ to call home. Seeing how he has called out to me and shaped me through his Church, I felt called away from law enforcement back to continue to serve him in the Church, that he may use me, and more may be impacted by his grace, for his glory. I have been serving in Youth and Worship ministries for the past 6 years and am greatly looking forward to what the Lord has in store for the ministry, families, and youth of SBCC! I am currently studying with the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary to complete my BA - Theology & MA- Divinity.

My wife, Libbi and I were blessed to have met in the Church as well. We were married in August of 2024 and are now excited to be welcoming our first child in October 2026! We have one cat named Cowboy who thinks that he is the life of the party, but loves to curl up on the couch as well. We enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors together. I love all things hunting, fishing, and grilling, as well as music, tennis, and disc golf.
